1. Executive Summary.
While the summary is listed first, this section of the business plan will be written last. It summarizes the key elements of any business plan.
2. Industry or Sector.
An overview of the industry sector which is part of its business, including industry trends, key industry players, and estimates of industry sales. This section of the business plan will also include a summary of your business within the industry.
3. Market Analysis.
A review of key target market for your product or service, including geographic location, demographics, target market needs and how these needs are being met today.
4. Competitive Analysis
An investigation of direct and indirect competitors, with an assessment of their competitive advantage and an analysis of how you will overcome the barriers of entry to your chosen market.
5. Marketing Plan.
A detailed explanation of its sales strategy, pricing plan, proposed advertising and promotional activities, product or service and benefits.
6. Management Plan.
An outline of the legal structure of business and resource management, including internal management team, external resource management and human resource requirements.
7. Operating Plan .
A description of your business’s physical location, facilities and equipment, type of employees needed, inventory requirements and suppliers, and any other details of operation, such as a description of the manufacturing process.
8. Financial Plan.
A description of funding requirements, detailed financial statements, and analysis of financial statements.
9. Appendices and annexes.
Any additional information that will help establish the credibility of your business idea, such as market studies, photographs of your product, and / or contracts or other relevant legal agreements for your business.
