Cyberdefender is probably best known for their anti-virus program but I want to leave a Cyberdefender review about their Live Help service. It’s a remote computer repair service offered for a year at a time and it’s really a bargain. I looked at a few places that were cheaper but their price was for one computer that could be repaired and Cyberdefender’s plan covered up to three in my house. So, I just had two computers, but it was still less expensive than most services.

I read Cyberdefender reviews where people said the company tried to upsell them after buying the anti-virus protection, but I just bought the remote repair Live Help upfront. After one trip to a computer repair shop, I saw how beneficial Live Help could be. Since I live in a very rural area, there is only one computer repair shop within a reasonable distance (32 miles). You lug the PC there and wait, and wait, then wait some more.

I only called Cyberdefender once, to get my new printer working because the driver wasn’t being recognized. That went well, a tech got me printing even though it was 11pm. It’s a great service if you are impatient like me and want the problem fixed right now. I haven’t got my money’s worth yet, but I consider it the same as insurance, you hope you don’t need it, but it’s there if you do.
