Are you familiar these questions? If so, you probably need to learn how to make a business plan, and it is much easier than you think. Today I share some simple but powerful tips to create your own business plan that works!

What is a business plan or business plan?

A business plan is like a map guiding you to success. Imagine you’re in an unfamiliar city and want to reach a certain point. You have only 2 forms. Ask each person to find or get you a map of the city. Definitely the second option will be most convenient to reach by yourself and to your destination safely.

If you have a map just go anywhere. A business plan is something similar, is the guide that lets you navigate to your destination and go for the best way.

How prepared should my business plan?

Basically there are 2 kinds of business plans. The best known is the one document that is prepared for submission to the bank, investors or venture capital firms. Its purpose is just that, raising capital to build a large corporation with intentions of competing in the stock market. This document is usually very extensive, detailed and formal but not what we need.

Conversely, if you are an entrepreneur with a dream of being independent and being your own boss. If you’re really looking for is put to work that great idea and transform your little capital in a company that allows you to hold your family and one day achieve financial freedom, then you need a basic business plan, what we call a “hands-on”.

How to start my business plan?

1. First you must relax remember that your main goal is to put your skills and talents to work and turn them into a capital-generating business to help you succeed. So avoid any kind of pressure and remember that this business is you only investor (a) and probably be the only employee for some time. So your business plan is a tool to guide you in that goal.
2. Get paper and pencil and do not worry that your business plan should not exceed a few leaves. The main focus will be on 2 aspects: business plan and marketing plan. The business plan should answer this question: What am I going to do and how I’m going to do? “, The marketing plan should answer this: Who would I sell and how do I do?
3. 2 Answer the key questions outlined in Section 2 and uses a maximum of 2 sheets each. This will help clarify your ideas and identify key issues on which you want to direct your business strategy.

Other important sections that must include:

* Finance. Please write clearly how much money you expect to earn and how soon. Detailed in a paper that estimates of income have an initial capital budget and a budget of monthly fixed expenses and any important details that you consider related to the investment issue. This part sure will help you determine if you are ready to begin your business.
* Market. Ask yourself who are in need of products or services they offer and how much you want to be willing to hire you. Describe in a sheet, who are your potential customers and how you plan to reach them.
* Competition. Write on a half sheet of paper who your competitors. Sure! There is always competition and of course you’ll be entering its market space. Admit it, accept it and Contemplate your business plan. Ask yourself if you can do better than them.
* Cover. Finally, in a big leaf, write the name of your company, your name and your business vision. What is your dream? Describe where you wish you were with your company in 5 years, and be sure to dream big! This is the face of your business plan. Just for yourself (a).
